Specifications for Standard Duty Woven Wire Mesh Partitions

Type of Wire: #10 ga. (.135) steel wire, crimped and interwoven to form 1-1/2" diamond mesh (opening measured parallel with the wire). Mesh is securely clinched to framing.
Vertical framing members: 1-1/4" x 5/8" x 1/8" cold rolled "C" channel
Horizontal framing members: 1" x ½" x 1/8" cold roll channel mortised and tenoned at intersections
Reinforcement: Center reinforcement crossbars composed of two 1" x 3/8" x 1/8" steel channels riveted together through the mesh
Top Horizontal Capping Bars: 1/4 x 2" flat secured to top framing channels with 1-1/4" bolts and washers
Corner Angles: 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 1/8" steel angles aligned with bolt holes in vertical framing members
Line Posts: Line posts are chosen based on individual project requirements from the following:
- ¼" x 2" vertical flat stiffeners bolted between channel framing members
- ¼" x 3" vertical flat stiffeners bolted between channel framing members
- 2-1/2" x 2" x 1/4" angle stanchions welded to 12" x 12" x 5/16" floor plate
- 3" x 4.1 channel stanchion welded to 12" x 12" x 5/16" floor plate
- Steel tube stanchion welded to 12" x 12" x 5/16" floor plate
Floor Shoes: Acme #4c Floor Shoes sized to suit vertical framing and to provide approximately 3-1/2" clear space between the finished floor and bottom horizontal framing members.
Slide Doors: 1-1/4" x 5/8" x 1/8" cold rolled "C" channel vertical framing members and 1" x ½" x 1/8" cold roll channel horizontal framing members with flat coverbar. Door frames are diagonally braced with angle. Slide doors equipped with 4 wheel trucks enclosed in box track with bottom guide. Doors can be fitted with a padlock setup, or with a Marks #3800 keyed mortise cylinder lock with lock receiver, recessed knob and lock protection plate.
Swing Doors: 1-1/4" x ½" channel with 1-1/4 x 1/8" flat cover plate on the hinge side and 1-3/8" x 7/8" x 1/8" slam angle on the lock side. Door frames are diagonally braced with angle. Swing doors are equipped with four steel butt hinges. Doors can be fitted with a padlock setup, or with a Marks #3700 keyed mortise cylinder lock with recessed knob and lock protection plate.
Double Swing Doors: Double swing doors can be fitted with a padlock setup, or with a Marks #3700 keyed mortise cylinder lock with double action bolt on inactive door. Door frames are diagonally braced with angle.
Finish: Shop applied air dried enamel finish.

Acme has the experienced staff required to design, measure, manufacture and install wire mesh partitions. Our installation Ironworkers are members in good standing of Ironworkers Local 25.

Type of Wire: #6 ga. (.192) steel wire, crimped and interwoven to form 2" diamond opening mesh (opening measured parallel with the wire). Mesh is securely clinched to framing.
Framing Members: 1-1/2" x ¾" channel framing members.
Reinforcement: Center reinforcement crossbars are composed of two 1-1/2" x ½" x 1/8" steel channels bolted together through the mesh.
Top Horizontal Capping Bars: 3" x 4.1 channel top coverbar secured to top framing channels with 1- 1/4" bolts and washers
Corner Angles: 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 1/8" steel angles aligned with bolt holes in vertical framing members.
Line Posts: 3" x 4.1 channel welded to a 12" x 12" x 5/16" plate which is anchored to the floor with ½" anchors
Floor Shoes: sized to suit vertical framing and to provide approximately 3-1/2" clear space between the finished floor and bottom horizontal framing members.
